The important stuff
Every year in January I organize a nice little bike packing trip from Invercargill to Mavora and return.
The 2025 official depart date is 25th January 8:30am at Lorneville roundabout. If you are interested on joining the ride for part way or simply meeting us in Mavora for the post ride banter and making your own route you are more than welcome!

What you need to know
- Bring all your gear with you.
- Bring bug spray.
- A decent sleeping bag, it may be summer but don't let that fool you!
- Enough food to cater for an overnight trip.
- Power banks keep your devices charged
- Eftpos / Credit card, You better believe it we are stopping at cafes along the way!
- The obvious gear needed for bike repairs (basic puncture equipment)
- lights
Things are more fun in the sun! So if your planning on joining but the weather is less than favorable get in touch with me as we may have to reschedule to a different date. An Instagram or Facebook message will be suffice ;)
